Quality Inspector Job Description
Job Responsibilities
· Oversee manufacturing processes related to the manufacture of transformers such as, but not limited to: Cutting, Welding, Painting, Assembling, Testing, etc.
· Monitor incoming and outgoing products to ensure the products meet the required quality standard.
· Record defects in the electronic system for further review by the quality team.
· Perform electrical tests as required by respective inspection area.
· Adhere to company policies and safety standards.
Requirements
Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.
· Be a team player able to work with others.
· Be meticulous with paperwork and records.
· Learn and follow written work instructions.
· Be able to stand, walk, climb ladders for entire shifts in a factory environment.
· Be able to learn or have previous knowledge of blueprint reading.
· Be able to read a tape measure and learn other tools.
· Be able to be trained on internal quality standards.
· Be detail-oriented and able to spot defects.
· Willing to learn or have previous knowledge of electrical testing of transformers.
· Previous manufacturing experience is a plus.
· Electrical/electrician and testing experience is a plus.
