Title Examiner/Escrow Officer

Barristers, a respected and dynamic settlement agency, is seeking a professional and experienced Title Examiner / Escrow Officer to join our growing team! If you're organized, detail-oriented, and ready to take your career to the next level, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do:
Title Examiner Responsibilities:
- Examine title searches and resolve title issues
- Collaborate with underwriting counsel and team members
- Communicate title findings with clients
- Issue final title insurance policies
Escrow Officer Responsibilities:
- Prepare closing documents and review settlement statements
- Coordinate with agents, lenders, buyers, and sellers
- Confirm title transfer, issue checks, and balance transactions
- Oversee escrow processes and assistants
What We’re Looking For:
- 3–5 years of recent experience in title and/or escrow preferred
- Michigan Title Insurance License preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent multitasking, communication, and customer service skills
- High school diploma required (Associate’s Degree preferred)
