Job Description:
As the Lead/Foreman Painter, you will be responsible for overseeing painting projects from start to finish, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.
Your duties will include:
- Leading and supervising a team of painters
- Preparing surfaces for painting, including sanding, patching, and priming
- Applying paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and sprayers
- Ensuring all safety protocols are followed on-site
- Coordinating with clients and project managers to meet deadlines and specifications
- Conducting quality control inspections and touch-ups as needed
- Maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition
- Completing Daily Reports
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a lead or foreman painter
- Strong knowledge of painting techniques and materials
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays if necessary
