Job Summary
Instructional Support: Assist in delivering small-group lessons and one-on-one support tailored to various learning styles. Social-Emotional Growth: Model and support restorative practices and trauma-informed interactions to help students build self-regulation skills. Classroom Management: Help maintain a safe, organized, and engaging "Project-Based Learning" environment. Student Supervision: Supervise students during transitions, recess, lunch, and specialized activities to ensure safety and positive play. Collaboration: Work effectively with the lead teacher and our wellness team to support the holistic needs of every child.
Requirements / Qualifications
In order to be considered for the position, the candidate must have the following: 1. Possess a secondary school (high school) diploma or its equivalent AND 2. One of the following requirements: - Completed at least two years of study at an institution of higher education; or - Obtain an associate's (or higher) degree; or - Take and pass the California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST) or equivalent 3. CPR certified
