Assistant Principal/Instructional Leader

Niles Community Schools is looking for a dynamic Assistant Principal/Instructional Leader. Highly effective communication skills and professionalism are required for daily interaction with a diverse workforce, student population, building administration, and community.
Position Details:
- Reports to: Building Principal and Superintendent
- Calendar: 225 Days, 45 weeks
- Compensation: Salary commensurate with the credentials and experience of the candidate; tentative starting salary $76,000 - $80,000 (full-time, prorated for 2025-2026 if hired mid-year)
Required Qualifications:
- A valid Michigan Administrator Certificate
- Master’s degree or higher, preferably in Educational Leadership
- Five years successful experience as a classroom teacher
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven leadership ability in school administration, elementary education evaluation, and supervision
- Strong background in curriculum and instruction
Performance Responsibilities (non-prioritized):

- Promote a positive learning environment
- Possess excellent communication skills
