STARTING SALARY HIRING RANGE:
$16.00 - $23.00
Knowledgeable about all direct service functions of the Loan Closet. Assists with services including consumer intake and application process, matching device to consumer, training on equipment, delivery and consumer follow-up.
Assists with all program operations including cleaning, storage, device tracking, and donations.
Responsible for opening and closing center as needed and provides back-up for other staff as needed.
Along with the Loan Closet team assures appropriate staff coverage for center during business hours.
Bachelor's Degree and one (1) year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- PREFERRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Bachelor's Degree and two (2) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience working with older adults and/or persons with disabilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Understanding of private and public Aging and Disability resources.
Knowledge of durable medical equipment and basic wheelchair assessment.
Healthcare Background and/or Licensed Healthcare professional.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.
