| Summary | The Campus Wellness Manager leads the development, implementation, administration, and evaluation of Howard Community College's comprehensive employee wellness strategy. Housed in Human Resources, the position works collaboratively with departments and offices throughout the College to identify employee wellness needs, coordinate institutional resources, and integrate wellness initiatives with broader workforce and organizational priorities. The position exercises substantial discretion in establishing annual priorities, selecting evidence-informed programming, managing vendors and resources, evaluating outcomes, and advising senior leadership. The Manager also directly delivers selected employee wellness programs, workshops, demonstrations, and group activities consistent with the incumbent's qualifications. |

| Physical Demand Summary | This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position. The work schedule will vary based on College programming and operational needs and may include early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends. The incumbent will generally adjust the schedule within the same workweek to support programs offered outside standard business hours. Regular on-campus presence is required during scheduled wellness programs and events. |

| Benefits Summary | Howard Community College offers competitive salaries, excellent medical and dental selections, tuition reimbursement and paid leave programs. As a participating member of the Maryland Retirement and Pension System, HCC offers two retirement options: The Pension, which requires a 7% employee contribution and The ORP, a 403(b) with a 7.25% employer contribution only. Employees in positions that do not require a bachelor's degree must participate in The Pension. Employees that possess a bachelor's degree and hold professional positions that require a bachelor's degree may choose to participate in either The Pension or The ORP. |
