Licensed Loan Officer Assistant – Full-Time, In-Person
We’re looking for an experienced Licensed Loan Officer Assistant to join our growing mortgage team and play a key role in guiding loans from application to closing. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working directly with clients, and takes pride in keeping transactions organized, efficient, and moving forward smoothly.
The right candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, highly organized, and confident communicating with borrowers, real estate agents, title companies, and internal team members throughout the loan process.
What You’ll Do
- Assist borrowers with completing loan applications and gathering required documentation
- Maintain communication with clients, real estate agents, title companies, and internal team members throughout the loan process
- Track loan milestones and follow up on outstanding or missing documentation
- Coordinate with Loan Officer to prepare, review, and manage loan files
- Input and update borrower information within CRM and loan origination systems (LOS)
- Help ensure loan files remain accurate, compliant, and organized for processing and underwriting
- Support a smooth and positive client experience from application through closing
- Assist with reviewing income, assets, and documentation as needed
- Help manage pipeline flow and prioritize deadlines in a fast-moving environment

Requirements
- Active NMLS license is required
- 2-3 years of mortgage experience
- Strong understanding of mortgage guidelines, documentation, and loan structure
- Experience with AUS, CRM and LOS platforms
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple files simultaneously
- Team-oriented attitude with a service-first mindset
- Self-motivated and dependable in a deadline-driven environment
