Responsibilities:
- Run errands and provide transportation or assistance as directed.
- Follow a care plan outlined by a supervisor to provide daily living support as needed.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation on client care and activities.
- Follow all safety and infection control protocols to protect clients and maintain a clean and healthy environment.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and supervisors to ensure the best care.
- Prior experience working as a caregiver, preferably in a senior care setting.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is preferred but not required.
- Ability to pass a background check and reference check.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy, patience, and compassion toward elderly clients.
- Must be comfortable around dogs (client has pets in the home).
- Must be willing to travel up to 25 miles when needed.
