Compensation:
- $80k - $85k
- Discretionary quarterly bonuses

Position Purpose:
Directly manages the personnel and operations of the Wilsonville warehouse outbound department, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures, while leading continuous improvement of the outbound operations through collaboration with warehouse leadership.
Functions or Duties:
- Leads, trains, develops, and manages outbound and parcel shipping employees while promoting a safe, productive, and positive work environment.
- Monitors employee attendance, performance, and productivity while providing coaching, counseling, and development opportunities.
- Partners with the Warehouse Manager and Human Resources regarding hiring, onboarding, performance management, disciplinary actions, and employee development.
- Oversees outbound operations, including freight, parcel, carrier management, shipment tracking, freight claims, regulatory compliance, and transportation-related issue resolution.
- Monitors operational performance, shipping costs, service levels, and key performance indicators while identifying opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
- Supports carrier negotiations, contract management, and transportation strategies to improve service and reduce costs.
- Leads continuous improvement initiatives and maintains departmental procedures to drive consistency, efficiency, customer service, and operational excellence.
- Ensures compliance with company policies, safety requirements, DOT regulations, carrier requirements, and industry standards.
- Completes required reporting and administrative responsibilities related to outbound operations and employee management.
- Travel as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Knowledge and Skills
- Familiar with standard warehouse stocking, shipping, and receiving methods and processes.
- Knowledge of various shipping and receiving documentation.
- Experience driving a forklift and thorough knowledge of warehouse product movement.
- Experience working with transportation and third-party carriers.
- Ability to complete data analysis and review and negotiate carrier rates.
- Thorough knowledge of safety practices within a warehouse environment.
- Ability to train employees.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required, associate’s degree preferred.
- Four years of supervisory experience in similar warehouse environment.
- OSHA experience preferred

- Stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Lift, load, push, pull, and carry products weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Climb stairs or ladders, as well as squatting, kneeling, bending, and reaching at shoulder level.
- The work involves repetitive motion.
- Exposure to cold, heat, loud noises, and machinery while performing job duties.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Must be able to pass a non-THC drug test and background check.
