Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - pediatric home health- Spring area

Houston Pediatric Therapy is an established pediatric healthcare company that is therapist owned and locally operated. HPT provides occupational and physical therapy services in a variety of settings including homes, clinics, schools, and ABA clinics.

We are immediately seeking a licensed physical therapist assistant (PTA) or (PT) to join our growing team of 80 plus therapists to provide physical therapy services to children ages 0-21 years of age in either a home setting or at their school/daycare for the following areas:

Spring and surrounding area- travel to your desired area

** Physical therapy assist will provide services to our pediatric clients as an independent contractor with highly competitive rates (You can set your own schedule- great flexibility *1099 position, full-time or part-time caseload available

Flexible hours and schedule and pick up as many patients as you would like in your area of choice.

Previous experience in pediatrics or fieldwork experience preferred but new grads or those seeking a new specialty are welcome. Opportunities to mentor under an experienced PT or PTA are available in a clinic and home health setting.

Job Duties:
The physical therapist assistant assists in the implementation of physical therapy services to patients in the in accordance to the plan of care and under to direction and supervision of a qualified physical therapist.

PTA Qualifications:
A minimum of a 2 yr. Associates Degree in PTA

One (1) full year of supervised work experience preferred but mentoring and shadowing available for all therapists.

Licensure or certification by the state of Texas as a Certified Physical Therapy Assistant.
