Your responsibilities will include ensuring smooth and efficient service to our members and guests by assisting servers and maintaining a clean and welcoming dining environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver service with care and attention, always prioritizing quality and the well-being of the Members.
- Table Service:
o Assist servers in setting up tables for service, including setting silverware, glassware, and linens.
o Refill water glasses and remove empty plates and glassware throughout the dining service.
o Deliver food and beverages to tables as directed by servers.
o Anticipate guest needs and provide prompt and attentive service.
- Bussing and Cleaning:
o Bus tables promptly and efficiently after guests have finished dining.
o Transport bus tubs to the dishwashing area.
o Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, and surrounding areas.
o Maintain cleanliness and order in the dining room and service areas.
- Assist servers with tasks as needed, such as refilling condiment stations and assisting with special requests.
- Communicate any guest concerns or issues to the server or manager.
- Any other duties, as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that foster a friendly and collaborative atmosphere.
- Ability to carry heavy plates, trays and racks.
- A commitment to providing exceptional service that makes a difference to our Membership.
- May be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
Working Conditions:
- You will be working indoors and outdoors in a restaurant environment.
- Exposure to hot surfaces and sharp objects.
Physical Requirements:
- Standing, stooping, bending and twisting for most of the workday.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
