At Houston Methodist, the Research Engineer III position is responsible for leading engineering support for laboratory-based research. This position, under the direction of a Principle Investigator (PI), Operations Manager, Administrator or senior laboratory staff, may lead engineering activities, bench techniques, work with laboratory animals, scientific writing, and data analysis. The Research Engineer III position conducts microscope work and image analysis, analyzing, implementing and testing materials. This position participates in the development or establishment of new laboratory procedures, including biological assays, quantitative and qualitative analyses.
