Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances on construction sites
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and maintenance of plumbing systems
- Perform pipe threading, welding, and assembly tasks using hand tools and power tools to meet project specifications
- Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols
- Execute remodeling, maintenance, and field service tasks to upgrade or repair existing plumbing infrastructure
- Collaborate with other trades such as carpentry and HVAC technicians to coordinate project workflows
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including schematics and technical reports
Experience
- Proven experience in construction plumbing with a strong background in commercial or industrial projects
- Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings with precision
- Hands-on experience with pipe threading, welding, pipe fitting, and assembly techniques
- Familiarity with construction site safety standards and protocols
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, schematics, and general mechanical principles is a plus
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, heavy machinery, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or experience driving construction vehicles is advantageous
- Prior handyman experience or involvement in remodeling projects enhances versatility in this role
Pay: $30.67 - $45.00 per hour
