We are seeking a reliable and patient-focused Medical Assistant to join our podiatry clinic. This role supports the provider in delivering high-quality foot and ankle care while ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience.
Responsibilities:
- Room patients, obtain vital signs, and document medical history
- Assist the provider during exams and minor procedures
- Prepare and clean treatment rooms and instruments
- Perform basic clinical tasks such as wound care and dressing changes
- Manage patient flow, scheduling, and follow-up appointments
- Handle charting, referrals, and insurance information as needed
Qualifications:
- Medical Assistant experience preferred (podiatry or wound care a plus)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and EMR systems
