Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Welcome guests in a polite and friendly manner.
- Check and scan tickets and direct guests to their seats.
- Distribute programs, brochures, and other materials.
- Inform guests about location of restrooms, refreshments, and exits.
- Tend to guests’ comfort and assist them with any questions or concerns.
- Assist guests with disabilities or other impairments, as needed.
- Monitor guests’ activity to ensure the safety of the event.
- Enforce event rules and relevant health and safety regulations.
- Ensure that the lobby and facilities are neat and organized.
- Follow all emergency procedures and guide audience members to exits in an orderly manner.
- High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience as an usher or similar preferred.
- Consistent professional and neat presentation and friendly demeanor.
- The ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Highly organized and attention to detail.
- The ability to manage crowds and remain calm in stressful situations.
- The ability to stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and on public holidays.
