Overview
The Houston Dynamo & Dash Soccer Team is seeking motivated and enthusiastic interns to support various administrative functions within our organization. This is a paid internship program that provides a unique opportunity to gain exposure in one of our key departments: Marketing, Digital Marketing, Partnerships, Strategy & Analytics, Communications, Charities, Stadium Operations, Ticketing, & Youth Programs. The successful candidate will assist in daily operations, collaborate with department leads, and contribute to various projects that support the team’s long-term success.

The successful candidate will assist in daily operations, collaborate with department leads, and contribute to various projects that support the team’s long-term success.
Key Responsibilities For Each Department
- Marketing - Support integrated marketing efforts across social, content, creative, and retail/merchandise channels by assisting with campaign execution, fan engagement initiatives, and cross-functional coordination to drive brand growth.
- Digital Marketing - Led day-to-day operations of the new app, including ownership of in-game elements, while supporting email communications and web updates, and conducting competitive research to deliver actionable recommendations for team implementation.
- Partnerships -Design and finalize commercial presentation decks by developing compelling visuals, aligning content with brand standards, and ensuring clarity and impact for stakeholder and client presentations
- Strategy & Analytics - Maintain dashboards and reports, develop research and insights on database growth opportunities, supported pre- and post-match reporting, and present project findings to senior leadership
- Communications - Manage media relations activities, including writing press releases, monitoring coverage, and preparing reports to support PR strategy and communications initiatives
- Charities - Assist with planning and executing events, including coordinating ticket donations and supporting school programs to enhance community engagement
- Stadium Operations - Assist with operations across diverse areas such as grounds, facilities, events, conversions, guest services, and credentialing, adapting responsibilities based on focus and learning goals
- Ticketing - Work with the sales team to promote ticket packages and help create great experiences for season members and fans.
- Youth Programs - Assist with communications, inventory management, and outreach to promote youth programs, while representing the organization at community events and game-day activations
- Current student pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Sports Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for soccer and sports management is a plus.
- Prior internship or volunteer experience in a sports or administrative setting is a plus.
- Hands-on experience in a professional sports environment.

- Duration: 8-12 weeks
- Hours: 20-30 hours per week (flexible, depending on your academic schedule)
