Houston County Middle School in Erin, TN, is a close-knit campus of roughly 275 students. HCMS seeks a dedicated Physical Education teacher to deliver state-approved P.E. curriculum for grades 6-8. In this role, you will plan, organize, and implement structured lessons that develop students' physical fitness, motor skills, and health knowledge; employ a variety of instructional methods and technology to engage and differentiate for diverse learners; supervise and maintain P.E. facilities and equipment; enforce safety and emergency procedures; and collaborate with colleagues, families, and community partners to promote lifelong wellness and sportsmanship. Working in a small, rural school environment, you'll form close relationships with students and families, benefit from smaller class sizes that allow for personalized instruction, and enjoy a supportive community on campus and across the county where your contributions are visible and valued.
