We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Project Manager to oversee renovation projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate has a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the design-build process. You will be responsible for coordinating teams, managing schedules and budgets, ensuring quality control, coordinating with employees and subcontractors and maintaining strong client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Help develop the scope of work and objectives of each project
- Lead and manage multiple renovation projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within budge
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and production plan
- Collaborate closely with architects, designers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Oversee procurement of materials and ensure timely delivery.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, enforce safety regulations, and maintain quality standards.
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and address concerns.
- Identify and resolve project challenges proactiv
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, permits, and regulation
- Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and report
- Create daily logs to document progress on job sites
- Proven experience (5 years) in project management within the design-build or renovation industry is preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractors effectively.
- Proficiency in project management software (Buildertrend) and tools.
- Strong negotiation and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Knowledge of permitting and local building regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required).
