What are the responsibilities and job description for the Yardi Application Analyst position at Housing Development Corporation?
This position offers the flexibility of either a fully remote or hybrid work arrangement. This position is primarily responsible for supporting and enhancing the functionality of Yardi Rent Cafe applications and other integrated systems. Acts as a subject matter expert for Yardi Rent Cafe, and other associated Yardi modules. Expert in taking business requirements and implementing business process solutions leveraging the Yardi ecosystem using best practices. Responsible for working on Yardi help desk tickets which includes prioritization, escalation, and coordination.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Serves as a strategic solution architect for all Yardi Rent Cafe and associated products, driving innovation and ensuring the implementation of industry best practices to optimize performance and outcomes.
- Delivers comprehensive end-user support for all Yardi applications (including mobile) and other integrated applications.
- Participates in the periodic auditing processes.
- Leads the development and implementation of security guidelines related to Yardi business applications and the setup of user access control protocols
- Creates and delivers standard operating procedures, FAQs, presentations, and other materials for end user training.
- Acts as a subject matter expert for the implementation of new Yardi Rent Cafe and associated products.
- Drives the implementation and enhancement of systems applications, leading the testing of end-user processes.
- Develops and executes testing scripts used for repetitive testing during upgrades and patches.
- Provides day-to-day support of Yardi programs for operations and accounting as well as other integrated systems, including credit screening, utility billing, revenue management, etc.
- Conducts in-person training at sites as needed and virtual training to corporate employees to train the trainers as needed.
- Assist with updating user manuals to reflect system changes and enhancements, keeping documentation current and user-friendly.
- Prepares and validates data entry for new or takeover properties in Property Management Software, ensuring seamless integration and accuracy.
- Tackles complex application issues that require in-depth analysis, considering multiple factors to develop effective solutions.
- Ensures thorough follow-up on audit discrepancies, driving resolution and continuous improvement.
- Collaborates closely with cross-functional IT teams to meet the evolving needs of the company.
- Takes on additional responsibilities as needed, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to the organization's success.
- Any other tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree (experience can be substituted for degree)
- Minimum 4 years of experience supporting Yardi Voyager and other Yardi products.
- Experience as a RentCafe Administrator.
- Implementation experience with multiple Yardi Voyager modules such as Affordable Housing, PHA, Residential,.
- 3 years supporting accounting and finance departments.
- Must possess sound judgment and decision-making skills. Strong ability to self-manage, drive objectives and meet deadlines.
- Must be able to recognize and recommend operational efficiencies.
- Ability to multi-task and exhibit strong organizational and project management skills is required.
- Excellent communication, managerial and problem solving skills are required.
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Working (intermediate or better) knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite expecially Excel.
