Job Summary
We seeking a dynamic and dedicated and mission-driven Mobility Program Coordinator to support the implementation and growth of a new Mobility Program. This role assists Housing Choice Voucher participants in accessing high-opportunity areas that promote long-term stability, economic mobility, and quality of life.
In addition to direct service and program coordination, this position plays a key role in identifying funding opportunities, supporting grant development, and helping sustain and expand the Program through strategic resource development.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide mobility counseling and ongoing support to participating families
- Program Coordination and Participant Support
- Assist families in identifying and accessing housing in high-opportunity areas
- Coordinate pre-move and post-move services, including education, resources, and follow-up
- Maintain regular communication with participants to support successful transitions and housing stability
Landlord Engagement and Community Outreach
- Recruit and engage landlords in high-opportunity areas
- Build and maintain relationships with property owners and community partners
- Conduct outreach and education to increase program participation
Program Administration and Compliance
- Maintain accurate participant records and documentation
- Track outcomes, performance metrics, and program milestones
- Ensure compliance with HUD regulations and program requirements
Grant Funding and Strategic Program Support
- Proactively identify and research grant funding opportunities to support and expand the MOVES Program and related Support Programs initiatives
- Assist in the development, writing, and submission of grant applications, including data collection, narrative development, and coordination of supporting materials
- Support post-award grant management, including tracking deliverables, reporting requirements, and ensuring compliance with funding guidelines
- Collaborate with the Director of Support Programs to align funding strategies with program goals and long-term sustainability
- Provide direct administrative and strategic support to the Director of Support Programs, including special projects, reporting, and cross-functional coordination
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in social services, public administration, urban planning, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in housing programs, case management, community services, or grant-related work
- Experience with Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) programs preferred
- Familiarity with grant writing, funding research, or resource development strongly preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build relationships with diverse populations and stakeholders

Pay: $49,000.00 - $54,000.00 per year
