Position Summary
The Housing Authority of the City of Shreveport (HACS) is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support daily operations at a residential property. This role provides administrative and customer service support to ensure efficient office operations and high-quality service to residents and vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and route incoming phone calls
- Schedule and track maintenance requests and work orders
- Maintain organized filing systems (electronic and paper)
- Process invoices and submit for payment
- Order and manage office supplies
- Communicate effectively with residents, vendors, and staff
- Perform additional administrative duties as assigned
Required Skills
- Knowledge of office procedures and administrative systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel
- Ability to operate standard office equipment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving ability

Compensation and Benefits
- Salary starting at $39,000 annually (based on experience)
