Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding
- Administer employee benefits, compensation, and HR policy compliance
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases in accordance with federal and state regulations
- Serve as a point of contact for employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management
- Support training and development initiatives to foster employee growth and retention
- Ensure compliance with Maryland labor laws, FMLA, ADA, and other applicable employment regulations
- Assist with payroll processing and coordinate with finance as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 4 years of experience in an HR generalist or HR specialist role
- Knowledge of federal and Maryland state employment laws and HR best practices
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a people-first mindset
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
- Experience in a nonprofit or social services environment is a plus

Salary : $31 - $41
