Housetop Marketing & Design is a growing creative agency working with purpose-driven businesses and organizations. We’re seeking a detail-oriented, reliable Marketing Specialist (Contract) to support day-to-day marketing execution and help keep client work moving smoothly.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, creative support, and collaboration, and who thrives working behind the scenes to help great work come together. For the right candidate, this contract role may expand in hours or scope over time. We are open to a full-time role for the right candidate.
Content & Social Support
- Schedule and publish social media content across platforms
- Format captions, hashtags, and basic post layouts
- Assist with light content creation and resizing graphics
- Build and format email campaigns within email platforms
- Proof content and test links prior to sending
- Schedule campaigns and ensure timely delivery
- Support project timelines and deliverables
- Coordinate tasks across internal team members
- Maintain organization within project management tools
- Light design work using Canva or Adobe tools
- Prepare files for internal review or client delivery
- Support updates to websites and marketing materials
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing fundamentals
- Experience with tools such as Canva, Google Workspace, and project management software
- Clear written communication skills
- Ability to take direction and execute efficiently
- Independent contractor role
- 10–20 hours per week (flexible)
- Fully remote, plus if in Lexington, KY
- Hourly contract rate based on experience
- Opportunity for expanded hours or long-term engagement for the right candidate
