Role And Responsibilities
The inspector is required to have a basic knowledge of residential home systems and elements and is expected to work in various weather conditions, climb ladders, walk on roofs, access crawl spaces and attics, and stand for long periods of time. Solid computer technology skills are necessary for report writing and communications.
The ideal candidate stays current on latest company initiatives, policies, and procedures, while continually developing advanced technical knowledge in building science. Punctuality, the ability to work independently and a strong work ethic are also required. Salary based on experience and qualifications.

- Travel to home inspection site
- Suggest possible improvements
- Prepare reports and take photographs
- Bilingual (preferable) English/Spanish
- Must have completed home inspection classroom training and passed State exam
- Must be licensed Home Inspector
- 2 years home inspection experience
- Must be qualified to do Standard Home Inspections, WDO/termite inspections, Wind Mitigation, 4-point & pool inspections
- HomeGauge knowledge is a plus
- Valid driver’s license
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude
- Must be reliable and prepared to show up for work on time
- Physically fit for climbing ladders, walk on roofs, access crawl spaces and attics, and stand for long periods of time
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- May be required to enter homes that contain allergens such as pets, dust, mold, or other
