Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, floor care, and surface sanitation to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and equipment to ensure health and safety compliance.
• Manage laundry services efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, carpet cleaners, mops, buffers, and other janitorial tools with proper manual handling techniques.
• Maintain floors through regular cleaning routines such as sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning to preserve their appearance and longevity.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding specific cleaning needs or requests while providing excellent customer service.
• Handle outdoor work tasks when necessary, including outdoor surface cleaning and maintaining outdoor areas in pristine condition.

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments; janitorial or custodial experience is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation standards.
• Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to health guidelines.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively across multiple locations or client requests.
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling of equipment and supplies, and outdoor work when required.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents and chemicals used in sanitation procedures.
• Prior experience in housekeeping management or supervising cleaning staff is a plus but not mandatory.

Pay: $22.58 - $27.19 per hour
