Job Summary
As a Room Attendant, you’ll keep guest rooms and shared spaces clean, sanitary, and ready for use. You’ll use cleaning equipment and approved products carefully, follow infection control practices, and deliver courteous customer service. Your work helps create a comfortable, welcoming environment for guests and colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize rooms, bathrooms, and common areas; complete floor care and window cleaning as assigned.
- Support laundry services, restock supplies, and report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Use cleaning equipment and handle chemicals according to instructions; wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Perform manual handling and heavy lifting safely; assist with pressure washing or other cleaning tasks when assigned.
- Your impact: Consistent cleaning and sanitation help guests enjoy comfortable spaces and help colleagues work in a well-maintained environment.
Experience
- Cleaning, janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning experience is helpful; equivalent practical skills are welcome.
- Familiarity with floor care, laundry services, window cleaning, pressure washing, and cleaning equipment is an asset.
- Able to follow sanitation, infection control, and chemical handling procedures, including appropriate PPE use.
- Able to perform the role’s physical tasks, including manual handling and heavy lifting, safely.
- Clear communication and a courteous, customer-service-focused approach are important.
Pay: $23.25 - $28.00 per hour
