Private couple in North Palm Beach, FL is looking to hire a Live-out House Manager who has experience managing a large residence and staff.
Our client is seeking a House Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and management of their 25,000 square foot, newly renovated private residence, including managing the household staff, coordination of household tasks, contractor management, daily waking and inspection of the property (inside and out), managing the fleet of cars and upkeep of them and various other house management responsibilities. The ideal candidate should be an animal lover (there is a new puppy in the home), highly organized, and capable of handling various responsibilities to ensure the smooth running of the household. Will coordinate some tasks with House Managers of other residences when needed. The House Manager will work closely with the Principles and will be the middle person between the house staff and the Principles.
Responsibilities:
Managing the day-to-day operations, supervising and training household staff, make sure that the interior and exterior of the house is clean and well-maintained at all times, overseeing the work of contractors, overseeing procurement of household goods, maintaining inventory of all furnishings and equipment in the house, including ordering replacements when needed, being hands-on with all duties.
What Works Best for Family: Someone who is confident with making judgements and being proactive. Knowledge or experience with all duties or tasks required to maintain a home and property; house and groundskeeping, general maintenance and contract work, etc. Must get along well with people and able to manage staff. Travel to other residences on occasion might be needed.
