Position: Elderly Companion
Location: UES NYC
Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours/week (Flexible for either day or night shifts in collaboration with other companions)
Compensation: $40–$45/hour
A formal family in the UES is seeking a full-time, refined and engaging companion to support their elderly mother, who is experiencing memory loss. This position is a focus on companionship, routine support, and helping her stay socially connected and emotionally comfortable.
About the Role:
You will join a team of four total companion professionals (including two currently in place) to create a balanced schedule and ensure consistent, quality companionship. This role is best suited for someone who is well-spoken, polished, warm, and patient, with an appreciation for old-school values and conversational depth.
Responsibilities:

Provide meaningful, engaging companionship and conversation throughout the day

Accompany the client to social events, meetings, or outings

Support her in maintaining daily routines and cognitive stimulation

Encourage a calm, respectful environment tailored to her preferences

Help her with self care and routine self maintenance

Coordinate with the team and family to ensure smooth transitions and coverage
