Job Summary

As a Furniture Mover, you will be responsible for the careful handling, transportation, and placement of furniture and décor during staging and de-staging projects. You will work closely with our design and warehouse teams to ensure all items are handled professionally, efficiently, and safely. This role is hands-on, physically demanding, and ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload furniture and décor from the warehouse to staging locations
• Safely wrap, transport, and place furniture according to the staging plan
• Assist with setup and breakdown of staging projects
• Handle furniture with care to avoid damage during moves
• Maintain organization and cleanliness in the warehouse
• Assemble and disassemble furniture as needed
• Communicate and collaborate with lead stagers and other team members
• Be familiar with and able to locate items in inventory quickly and efficiently

Requirements

• Experience: Previous experience in moving, staging, or furniture delivery preferred
• Physical Ability: Must be able to lift and carry 50–150 lbs and stand for long periods
• Reliability: Punctual, responsible, and takes direction well
• Team Player: Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
• Attention to Detail: Careful and precise when handling high-end furniture
• Driver’s License: Valid license and ability to commute to Bridgeport, CT
• Must be able to provide 3 professional references
• Must pass a background check
• Can Drive a 26 foot Uhaul Style Truck

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
