Poultry Breeder Farm Manager

The Poultry Farm Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of poultry production operations to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality output. This role oversees all aspects of bird welfare, farm maintenance, equipment operation, and team supervision while maintaining strict biosecurity and company compliance standards.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Poultry Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in poultry farming, preferably in broiler, breeder, or layer operations.

• Previous experience in farm management or supervising agricultural/livestock operations is an asset.

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of poultry health, nutrition, and welfare standards.

• Understanding of ventilation systems, feed management, and automated feeding/watering equipment.

• Ability to identify and respond to signs of poultry disease or stress.

• Familiarity with biosecurity protocols and environmental regulations.

• Basic mechanical skills for farm and equipment maintenance.

• Proficient in recordkeeping and basic computer/data entry tasks.

Other Requirements:

• Flexible to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
