What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Supervisor (Portioning) position at House of Raeford Farms Inc?
PORTION CONTROL SUPERVISOR – 2nd SHIFT
This individual will be responsible for the successful operation of the Portion Control Department (Hand Cutters) that includes, DSI and Xray Machine. Individual will be responsible for but not limited to monitoring employees, managing the production line/department by establishing procedures and adjusting as necessary to meet production schedules, increasing efficiencies and meet or exceed budget objectives.
Some other responsibilities include:
- Ensuring daily reporting is accurately completed and recorded
- Identifying and communicating opportunities for process optimization
- Leading or participating in the planning and implementation of process improvements
- Mentoring, coaching, and training employees
- Administering performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions
- Following and promoting all safety initiatives
- Working collaboratively with other departments/shifts

Education:
- High school diploma or GED preferably
- 3 Years in Poultry Experience
