We are looking to add a fast learning and energetic receptionist to our team. House of Optical is a bustling, fast paced office that provides full scope eye care, and as a receptionist you can help coordinate the care that matters to our patients. You would be the first smiling face every patient sees when they walk through the door, and you’ll play a pivotal role in guiding the patients through our office and coordinating the care patients receive.
House of Optical really is a one-stop shop. The beauty of this, is that it gives receptionists a chance to increase their earning potential through making sales contact lens sales. We are currently offering extremely competitive base salary, with commission structure. Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and service-oriented Front Desk Representative to join the team at our thriving optometry office. As a Front Desk Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our patients. You will greet patients as they arrive, book appointments, answer phone calls, and collect payment information. The ideal candidate has a cheerful disposition, excellent communication, and computer skills, and is capable of multitasking.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers as they arrive and provide an excellent customer experience
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
- Assist clients with paperwork, including consent forms
- Maintain a clean and inviting environment
- Provide general customer service and attend to the needs of customers throughout their services
Qualifications
- Two or more years of experience as a receptionist or similar role is preferred
- Excellent communication skills with a commitment to customer service
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Familiar with computers and scheduling software
- Excellent multi-tasking skills
