House of Ladders, a growing leader in the construction access and scaffolding industry, is seeking an experienced and driven Branch Manager – Operations & Strategic Support to play a key role in our South Florida operations. This is a high-impact position that combines strong operational leadership with direct support to the owner, offering the right candidate significant autonomy, visibility, and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership
· Lead daily branch operations with a focus on efficiency, accuracy, and safety
· Oversee order processing (sales, purchase, and rental orders), inventory management, deliveries, and job scheduling within the CRM system
· Ensure the warehouse runs smoothly, including daily opening and closing procedures
· Maintain high standards of organization, cleanliness, and safety compliance
Owner Support & Strategic Initiatives
· Serve as a trusted right-hand to the owner, providing high-level administrative and operational support on key initiatives
· Assist with client communication, project coordination, and follow-through on owner-directed projects
· Support business development efforts, including identifying opportunities in the U.S. construction market and building relationships with contractors, engineers, and strategic partners
· Contribute to pipeline development and targeted growth activities as directed
Technical Expertise & Value-Add
· Apply in-depth knowledge of scaffolding and access equipment, including proficient blueprint reading and interpretation
· Provide technical guidance and product expertise to support project success and team development
· Assist with documentation, prequalification processes, approvals, and compliance requirements
Requirements:
· Business Management degree preferred, paired with at least 1 year of Rental Industry experience OR 4 years of progressive experience in the rental or construction access industry
· Extensive knowledge of scaffolding and access systems (strongly required)
· Proven ability to read and interpret construction blueprints (essential)
· Advanced CRM proficiency with strong order management and data accuracy skills
· Solid background in construction, warehouse operations, and field environments
· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
· Demonstrated experience supporting senior leadership or owner-level initiatives
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to follow direction while exercising sound judgment and initiative
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
· Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
· Experience in sales support, negotiation, or client relationship management
· High degree of accountability, superior time management, and a continuous learning mindset
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Physical Demands:
Must be capable of bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds, and working indoors or outdoors as required.
