What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Clinical Services position at House of Hope of NC?
House of Hope is a Christian therapeutic school, home, and counseling center dedicated to supporting troubled teen girls and their families. We also provide non-residential counseling services to any teen, marriage, or family, and offer a one-day parenting workshop. Our mission is to offer hope and healing through compassionate care and professional counseling services in Clayton, NC.
Qualifications:
● Master’s degree in counseling, social work or other similar degree
● Licensure required
● 5 years experience preferred working with youth and families
● Licensed supervisor credential with 2 years of supervisory experience preferred
● Marketing experience preferred
● Must be a strong Christian who lives out their biblical principals
● Flexible work schedule required based on program needs

Salary Range:
● $75,000 - $80,000 based on education and experience
● Includes generous time off (PTO and breaks)

Duties:
Supervision
● Directly supervise counseling staff and interns (includes interviewing, hiring, training and performance reviews)
● Manage staffing for the clinical department related to PTO requests, always ensuring adequate clinical coverage for the program
● Oversee weekly group counseling
Administrative
● Ensure that clinical staff document sessions in a timely and professional manner
● Ensure that billing is completed in a timely and accurate manner
● Manage caseload distribution for the clinical department
● Establishing and maintaining Electronic Health Record
● Attend weekly staff meetings
Programming
● Working with the Executive Director and the other counseling staff to assess the Family Life Training program on a consistent basis
● Provide necessary improvements as needed to the family education programming at House of Hope
● Research and develop new training opportunities for the House of Hope counseling staff as well as for house staff as appropriate
● Oversee admission and discharge process for residential and out-patient clients
● Complete assessments for potential new clients
● Carry a small caseload of residential &/or out-patient clients
● Ensure that quarterly treatment plan meetings are occurring with active parental attendance and participation
● On-call duties along with other clinical staff on a regular rotation
● Be accessible for staff to consult on challenging client/parent issues including crisis situations
Marketing
● In partnership with the Executive Director, be the liaison for community organizations that House of Hope has a relationship with
● Research and connect with organizations, agencies and businesses that could offer positive outcomes for growth for House of Hope
● Develop and maintain a marketing plan in conjunction with the Executive Director to market and develop the House of Hope residential and out-patient program
Other
● Attendance at all House of Hope fundraising events
● All other duties as assigned
