About the Position
House of Hope Foundation is seeking compassionate and motivated Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Counselors, Associate Professional Clinical Counselors (APCCs), and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors (LPCCs) to join our growing clinical team.
In this role, you will provide evidence-based treatment and recovery services to adults with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions in our residential and outpatient programs. Clinical responsibilities will be assigned according to your education, credentials, and scope of practice.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide individual and group counseling using evidence-based practices.
- Facilitate psychoeducational and relapse prevention groups.
- Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation in the electronic health record.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team to coordinate patient care.
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, DHCS, and organizational policies.
Qualifications
- Registered or Certified SUD Counselor OR registered APCC OR licensed LPCC in California.
- Experience working with individuals with substance use disorders and/or co-occurring mental health conditions preferred.
- Knowledge of motivational interviewing, CBT, trauma-informed care, and recovery-oriented treatment preferred.
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Pay: $25.95 - $40.00 per hour
