Duties

• Warmly greet guests upon arrival, providing friendly and professional service from the moment they walk in.
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to optimize seating flow.
• Escort guests to their tables, presenting menus and explaining specials to enhance their dining experience.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, relay them promptly to the kitchen and bar staff, and ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction throughout their visit.
• Handle phone inquiries with proper phone etiquette, making reservations or providing information as needed.
• Assist with guest check-out processes using POS systems, process payments accurately, and thank guests for their patronage.
• Support team members in maintaining a clean, organized dining area that adheres to health and safety standards.

Experience

• Previous host/host experience or food service background preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse guests.
• Experience working with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Knowledge of hospitality standards and guest services enhances your ability to deliver exceptional experiences.
• Familiarity with hotel or restaurant environments is advantageous but not mandatory; we welcome candidates eager to learn!
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanor in a fast-paced setting.

Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
