Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of food items efficiently and accurately, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
- Operate POS systems to process sales quickly and accurately, handling cash and card transactions with precision
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service, upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the food truck, including food handling, bussing tables, and proper waste disposal in accordance with food safety regulations
- Manage time effectively during peak hours to ensure prompt service and minimize wait times
- Restock supplies, ingredients, and packaging materials as needed to keep the operation running smoothly
- Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation, quick service or fast-food restaurant environments preferred
- Must have transportation to and from events
- Familiarity with POS systems highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and ability to upsell menu items confidently
- Basic math skills for cash handling, register balancing, and inventory management
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work seasonal hours including weekends and evenings as needed
- Experience in food industry roles such as cashiering, serving, bussing or kitchen work is a plus
