Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of food items efficiently and accurately, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
• Operate POS systems to process sales quickly and accurately, handling cash and card transactions with precision
• Provide friendly, attentive customer service, upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the food truck, including food handling, bussing tables, and proper waste disposal in accordance with food safety regulations
• Manage time effectively during peak hours to ensure prompt service and minimize wait times
• Restock supplies, ingredients, and packaging materials as needed to keep the operation running smoothly
• Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety

Requirements

• Previous experience in food preparation, quick service or fast-food restaurant environments preferred
• Must have transportation to and from events
• Familiarity with POS systems highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and ability to upsell menu items confidently
• Basic math skills for cash handling, register balancing, and inventory management
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Flexibility to work seasonal hours including weekends and evenings as needed
• Experience in food industry roles such as cashiering, serving, bussing or kitchen work is a plus
