- High-Quality Workmanship: Complete handyman and home improvement projects including repairs, flooring, drywall, carpentry, painting, etc.
- Project Estimating: Must be able to accurately estimate job scope, time, and materials for clients.
- Job Management: Organize and manage the equipment required to complete daily tasks efficiently.
- Customer Service: Work closely with clients to provide exceptional customer service and a great experience.
- Brand Ambassador: Represent House Doctors in the local community and network with potential customers as needs arise.
- Experience: 2 years of construction or handyman experience preferred. (We will consider highly motivated trainees with less experience starting at the training rate if you are willing to learn!)
- Availability: Must be able to handle some on-call shifts and work some weekends as needed to meet client demands.
- Trade Knowledge: Hands-on knowledge of the principles, techniques, equipment, and supplies used in the handyman industry.
- Tools & Transport: Must have your own standard hand and power tools, plus a reliable car or truck to get to job sites.
- Tech Savvy: Ability to learn and operate basic computer programs and systems.
- Physical Fitness: Able to perform physical labor work, including bending, lifting (50 lbs), and safely handling tools.
- Screening: Valid driver's license required. Must have solid references and be able to pass a standard background check.
- Soft Skills: Friendly personality, strong work ethic, highly dependable, and deeply committed to great customer service.
