Handyman Technician
Role Summary
A Handyman Technician provides repair and maintenance services for properties, ensuring they are safe and functional. The technician can also perform renovation jobs as well for households and commercial properties.
Job responsibilities
Responsibilities include general repairs, basic electrical and plumbing, carpentry, drywall, texturing, painting, responding to maintenance requests, and inspections. Tasks also involve giving reccomendations to customers, operating tools safely, assisting with landscaping, collaborating with others, and following safety protocols.
Skills and qualifications
Candidates should have proven handyman experience, basic knowledge of trades like drywall, texturing, electrical and plumbing, and tool proficiency. You must have 2 years of hands on handyman experience or 1 year experience with vocational school training. Problem-solving, communication, and independence are also important. Physical stamina is required. A high school diploma or GED is typical, with technical certifications being advantageous. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation is required.
Compensation
Base hourly wage per hour with 5% incentive of every sale executed at high-quality completion of work and timeliness for a total comp of $50K - $60K year.
