Expectations

- Conduct outbound calls to prospective and existing customers to promote and sell parts inventory.
- Prepare detailed and accurate call reports in a timely manner.
- Educate customers on the uses and features of various parts, utilizing your knowledge of equipment.
- Respond promptly to customer emails and calls regarding used parts.
- Record sales transactions through invoicing.
- Process parts orders efficiently.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with customers, both internal and external.
- Utilize parts manuals for research and to accurately identify products.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Previous experience with heavy-duty truck parts is highly desirable but not mandatory.
- Proven sales experience.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications.
- Strong ability to interpret customer needs and recommend suitable solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Continuous use of hands for manual tasks.
- May involve standing, walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, reaching, and handling components.
- Capable of viewing a computer monitor for extended periods.
- Approximately 25-35% travel is required, depending on business needs.
- Work environment varies and may include exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, and outdoor weather conditions.
- Potential exposure to hazardous materials like battery acid, gasoline, and cleaning chemicals.
- Noise levels are typically moderate to loud.
- Work is performed both indoors and outdoors.
