Location: HF Hospital, 2799 W Grand Blvd Detroit, MI 48202
Status: 12 or 24-Hour Shifts | Rotating Shifts (days/nights)
Call/Weekends: No Call. Weekends – averages to every 3rd weekend.
Position Overview:
Henry Ford Health is seeking a certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join our collaborative Neonatal team in Detroit. This 24-hour position provides the opportunity to work alongside an experienced group of Neonatal Nurse Practitioners and Neonatologists in delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to critically ill and premature newborns. Candidates must be certified as an NNP. One year of NNP experience is preferred, but we are also excited to review applications from new graduates who are passionate about neonatal care and eager to join a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications:
- Certified as NNP
- Licensed in State of Michigan as an RN and NP
- Certified by NCC as a neonatal nurse practitioner
- 1 year experience NNP, preferred
- BLS
- DEA
Education & Training
· Nurse Practitioner (NP): Completion of a Nurse Practitioner program accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC)
Licensure
· Current licensure as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, in the State of Michigan, or in the process of applying (proof of application required)
Certification
· NNP: Certification by the National Certification Corporation (NCC)
Required Certifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – required (may be obtained after hire)
DEA / Controlled Substance Licensure
- NP: DEA registration required through credentialing; NPs do not hold a Michigan CSL and will use their Michigan license number during the application process
