Required to work variable shifts, Provides patients with appropriate nutritionally balanced meals. Performs meal count to provide cooks with an accurate amount of food needed. High school graduate or equivalent. Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions. Ability to communicate with patients, fellow employees, and supervisors. Must be willing and able to work share of weekends and holidays.
Medical Secretary to provide coverage in Houlton Family Practice. M20t have computer skills and ability to deal effectively with public. Previous clerical experience in an office/medical setting preferred.
This position is responsible for the direct care of pain management patients on a day to day basis, including hands-on patient care. In this position, you will be part of a clinical team dedicated to helping patients who suffer from chronic pain receive safe and responsible treatment options that help them improve their quality of life. This position will assess, plan, direct, administer, teach, and evaluate nursing care, and ensure quality and efficiency according to established hospital and PMG policies and procedures. Will be responsible for complete and accurate documentation in patient records and charges. Will support clinic team to follow performance expectations for reaching key performance indicators. Assist provider with patient treatments. Provide oversight and coordination of all patients from clinic to OR/procedure day to follow up in the office. Ability to effectively identify potential risk events and provide intervention to assess and mitigate risks. Assess data reflective of the patient status and interpret the appropriate information to identify each patient’s care requirements relative to their age-specific needs. Review and return clinical phone messages regarding medication refills, consulting physician and patient questions in a timely manner and appropriately document actions and follow up with staff and providers as required. Previous experience and/or knowledge of surgical procedures in pain management preferred.
