Our team works together to ensure every patient feels comfortable, cared for, and welcomed. We are looking for a motivated team player to join us as a Dental Hygiene Assistant
Position Overview:
This role is essential in supporting our clinical team and creating a positive patient experience. The right candidate will be adaptable, eager to learn, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Seat patients and prepare them for dental exams and hygiene appointments
- Assist hygienists and doctors with exams and charting as needed
- Take diagnostic dental radiographs (x-rays)
- Clean, disinfect, and reset treatment rooms between patients
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment following infection control protocols
- Support the team with additional clinical and sterilization tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous dental knowledge preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety/sterilization protocols
- Friendly, professional, and welcoming personality
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to help wherever needed
