Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise team members during assigned shifts to ensure smooth operations across all areas of the restaurant.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, service, and cleanliness in accordance with Slim Chickens’ brand expectations.
- Coach, train, and motivate team members, providing feedback and direction to ensure performance excellence.
- Manage cash handling and register reconciliation accurately and responsibly.
- Monitor food safety, sanitation, and health standards, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory guidelines.
- Assist with scheduling, inventory, and shift planning to meet labor and cost goals.
- Provide exceptional guest service, resolving guest issues promptly and professionally.
- Ensure a positive, team-oriented work environment, fostering respect, communication, and collaboration.
- Step into various roles as needed — including cook, cashier, or drive-thru — to maintain operational flow during busy times.
- Communicate effectively with upper management regarding shift performance, staffing needs, and operational challenges.
Work Condition Requirements
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods as needed.
- Frequent contact with guests, requiring tact, courtesy, and a positive attitude.
- Frequent contact with team members, requiring effective communication, direction, and teamwork.
- Must be able to lift at least 20 pounds.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, and squat frequently.
