GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
This is an in-office position (non remote).
The Production Artist Intern will support the Marketing and Advertising team in the creation and production of weekly grocery advertisements, promotional materials, and digital assets. This internship provides hands-on experience in retail advertising production, layout design, brand standards execution, and fast-paced marketing operations.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, creative, and eager to gain real-world experience in a multi-format retail environment including grocery, hardware, QSR, and convenience formats
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Advertising Production Support
- Assist in layout and production of weekly print and digital advertisements.
- Prepare product images, pricing graphics, and promotional callouts.
- Format creative files for print and digital distribution.
- Ensure accuracy in ad placement, pricing display, and promotional messaging.
Design & Creative Execution
- Support creation of in-store signage and promotional materials.
- Resize and adapt creative assets for various marketing channels.
- Follow brand guidelines and ensure visual consistency.
- Assist in photo editing and basic retouching as needed.
Project & Workflow Support
- Maintain organized file management and asset libraries.
- Support deadline-driven production schedules.
- Collaborate with Advertising Specialists and Advertising & Promotion Manager.
- Assist in proofing and quality control of materials.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, or related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator required).
- Strong attention to detail.
- Portfolio of design or layout work preferred.
- Interest in retail advertising or promotional marketing a plus.
