We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist to join our accounting team. This role is a great fit for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and wants to grow with a company that’s making waves in the fitness industry.
Responsibilities:
- Process vendor invoices and ensure all payments are timely and accurate
- Match invoices to purchase orders and delivery receipts
- Monitor and respond to vendor inquiries
- Prepare weekly payment runs (check, ACH, wire)
- Maintain up-to-date vendor records including W-9s and 1099 compliance
- Support month-end close and AP reconciliations
- Collaborate with corporate teams to resolve any AP issues
- Assist with audit preparation and documentation
Requirements:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2 years of AP or general accounting experience
- Experience in a multi-location/franchise environment is a plus
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage X3, or similar)
- Solid Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- A proactive, team-player mindset with great communication skills
