Responsibilities:
- Assist with recruitment efforts for openings, partnering with supervisors and managers to understand staffing needs.
- Coordinate with direct hires, staffing agencies, and other recruitment sources to support hiring plans.
- Conduct new hire orientations and support onboarding activities, including paperwork, training coordination, and scheduling.
- Maintain accurate job descriptions and ensure hiring documentation meets compliance requirements.
- Support managers in addressing basic employee issues and documenting performance concerns.
- Provide employees with assistance on HR-related questions, policies, and general workplace matters.
- Assist with employee relations tasks, including gathering information and preparing documentation for investigations.
- Support HR-driven culture and engagement initiatives, including recognition programs and communication updates.
- Ensure labor law postings are current and displayed in appropriate areas.
- Assist managers with understanding FLSA and DOL guidelines as needed.
- Maintain HR files, employee records, and compliance documentation.
- Coordinate annual performance review reminders, tracking, and documentation.
- Support payroll processing and benefits administration for the local site by gathering updates, assisting employees, and ensuring accurate information is provided to corporate HR, Payroll, and Benefits teams.
- Prepare HR communications, announcements, and updates in collaboration with senior management.
- Participate in company update meetings and assist with general HR reporting or administrative duties.
- Must speak fluent English and Chinese (Mandarin).
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 1 years of related HR experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Basic knowledge of HR practices, recruiting, and employment laws.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of service orientation and responsiveness.
- Ability to exercise good judgment, maintain confidentiality, and handle sensitive information professionally.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Salary : $60,000 - $65,000
