Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly as they arrive and guide them to their tables with friendly professionalism
- Take accurate breakfast orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication of menu options and specials
- Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Clear tables efficiently by bussing and resetting for new guests, adhering to sanitation standards
- Assist with food handling, preparation, and food safety practices to ensure quality and compliance with health regulations
- Use reservation management platforms like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements and manage guest flow during busy hours
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub experience
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking seamlessly
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols in the food industry
- Experience with food preparation, bussing, serving, cashiering, or host/hostess duties is highly desirable
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy
- Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members
