Job Description:
This position is responsible for assisting supervisors in running production in an efficient and productive manner.
- Assisting the supervisor in running the designated department assigned (flat or terry)
- Must meet production standards
- Must assure the quality of every bin leaving the department is of the highest quality possible
- Maintain the flow of the bins throughout the department
- Place rewash bins in correct department and segregate by hotel
- Keeping the department clean and in good housekeeping order
- Enforce safety in the department
- Keep enough linen to be processed by machine, so employees do not need to move from their work stations.
- Must be able to adhere and comply with all company safety programs
- Take inventory for customers as needed
- Lead and motivate their teams
- Review and understand company SOP (Standard Operating Procedures)
- Other duties as requested by immediate supervisor and/or management group
Requirements:
- Education: High school equivalent or related experience in field
- Attention to detail is a must
- Able to respond to basic verbal commands
- Aptitude for working with numbers
- Flexible schedule mandatory
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
